Joining the Class Action
You may be eligible to participate in this lawsuit if you:
1.	are Hispanic; and
2A.	(i) farmed or attempted to farm between January 1, 1981 and December 31, 1996; and (ii) filed a complaint, written or oral, with the USDA prior to July 1, 1997, alleging that you were discriminated against by the USDA during the period January 1, 1981 and December 31, 1996, in connection with your attempt (a) to obtain a loan (e.g. a farm operating, farm ownership, emergency loan etc.) including the servicing and continuation of loans, or (b) to participate in a farm benefit (e.g. disaster relief, non-insured assistance program (NAP), production flexibility contract, etc.); or
2B.	farmed or attempted to farm from October 13, 1998, through the present and were discriminated against by the USDA in obtaining loans or in participating in benefit programs.
